If you’re shopping for a guy in your life, I’ve already highlighted quite a few cool ideas this season – check my Gifts for Dad and Gifts for Friends posts for some inspo. In the meantime, this is my big huge all-guy gift guide extravaganza! From luxe choices to practical picks, here are some of my favourite Christmas gift ideas for guys this season.

The Star Wars BB-Ate Cookbook: Awaken to the Force of Breakfast and Brunch Cookbook – $24
This is literally the perfect gift for a host of situations: Tight budgets, tough to buy for buddies, Star Wars nerds, your nephew that just moved out and needs to learn to cook brekkie for himself…you name it! Loaded with 29 recipes with quirky titles like ‘Hans Soloatmeal’, this fun book comes out just as the new Star Wars movie does. If you’re attending the midnight showing of the film, you can break this out the next morning to serve up some much-needed recovery nosh.

Gentlemen’s Grooming Kit – $30 @ Old Soul Soap Company
You don’t have to spend a lot to get a lot of great grooming gifts for him from Canuck brand Old Soul Soap Company. This all-in-one kit contains four of the brand’s bestsellers for men’s grooming, as well as a handy shaving brush so he can lather up nice. Start with their Dirty Boy Scrub to slough off rough skin and leave him feeling baby soft post-shower. Shave away with their richly lathering shaving soap, and soothe tender skin with after shave butter. Finally, he can even style his locks with the brand’s old school pomade. All housed in a perfectly sweet box, gift this to that guy you just started seeing, your younger brother, or any guy that appreciates artisanal shaving and grooming gear.

SuperHuman Strength Protein Powders – $64.99 – $79.99
Shopping for a health-minded guy this holiday season? Skip the fatty chocolates and lazy day sweatpants and opt for something he’ll actually use – like this lineup of protein powders from Canadian brand SuperHuman Strength. Co-founded by the Vancouver Canucks’ strength trainer, these powders are so potent, they’re actually used by major NHL teams like the Canucks, St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, and Anaheim Ducks. There’s four different varieties to choose from as well – go for pure vegan if he’s a veg or protein cycling, grass-fed whey, nourish (with greens), or a recovery formula for those really tough workouts. This is a particuarly apt gift idea for the guy that’s planning to finally get off the couch in the New Year – and could use a little fuel to add to his personal fire.

Lucis Lite Lamp – $55 USD on Indiegogo Marketplace
There is a lot to like about this portable little light. Designed to provide instant ambiance to any space, he can bring this splash-proof lamp and unpack it to light up any dark corners, picnics under the stars, or beside the bed. Compared to all the new techie lamps out there these days, Lucis is pretty user-friendly too; you simply shake it to turn it on and off, and there’s no apps required to change the LED light inside to 16 million (Yeah you read that right) different colours. In fact, the built-in touch sensors make it easy to dim the light, change the colour, and reset things. Easy to recharge  and serving up to 80 hours of mood lighting, this wireless lamp is also perfect for any open spaces where you don’t want cords all over the place, like his desk, front entryway, or even the bathroom for a spa-like atmosphere in a flash.

Joe Fresh Holiday Men’s Collection – $8 – $99 (as pictured)
I always think the holidays are a nice time to pep up his closet a bit with some new pieces he might not otherwise buy for himself. Joe Fresh carries style staples like henley tees, winter accessories, and comfortable pants – but they’re also home to some really creative (and budget-friendly) gift ideas! Nab him a cozy cashmere sweater or a cool bomber jacket; or opt for a neat layering piece he’ll stay comfy cozy in all season long. With virtually everything under $100, you can’t go wrong to stuff his stocking or quite literally pad his gift.

BarCountry Dehydrated Cocktail Mixes – From $15
Guys and camping and the great outdoors – the only thing that’s missing is a good drink to cheers under the stars. Instead of hauling around a six-pack of beers or a heavy glass bottle of wine, BarCountry has a seriously brilliant solution. Founded in Calgary at Market Collective, this neat brand lets you make your fave bevvies on the road – just add water, spirits, and shake to create craft-style cocktails like The Bearded Caesar or Old Fashioneds in under 20 seconds. Not only does BarCountry sell their cocktail mixes, they also sell all the gear you need to make them literally anywhere in the world…did I mention they’re also great for toting in your suitcase for a weekend stag with your bros? Perfectly priced as stocking stuffers on their own, you can also get cool BarCountry gift sets to really treat your fave guy right.

JBL Trip Visor Mount Portable Bluetooth Speaker – $149 @ Canadian Tire,  Bell, Simcoe Audio/Video, Dix Performance
If he spends a fair amount of time commuting or road tripping, this little speaker will win him over in no time. Designed to be portable with no installation required, simply clip this speaker onto your visor and use it to conduct wireless Bluetooth phone calls with crystal clear sound on both ends – even if he’s cruising down the highway with the top down! Beyond calls, this cool speaker can play tunes, deliver driving instructions via navigation apps, and be used simultaneously with your car’s factory radio, meaning you can get traffic updates and sing along to your fave songs without missing a beat. And when you’ve parked for the night, the speaker comes with you, with all the same functionality. Delivering up to 8 hours of wireless music or 20 hours of talk time (and 800 hours on standby), it’s a great, versatile pick he’ll love.

Zissou Toque – $40 @ Exit
The best gifts are the ones made with love – like this extra thick acrylic yarn unisex toque from Edmonton-based Exit. Coming in 10 different hues to contrast or complement his winter parka just right, this classic knit beanie can even be customized in a different size or colour. Priced just right for gifting, I love this cozy topper as a gift idea for your brother, spouse, dad, or hip nephew. It’s just the right blend of simple and stylish – with an adjustable brim so he can wear it however he wants.

Refresh Sht Sprays – From $19.99 for 3x 1 0z bottles
Let’s be honest yo – boys are smelly. From stinky hockey gear to the ever-present odor of man’s best friend when you’re at his place to that perma-stale pizza scent in his car, there’s a number of odors in his life I’m sure you’d both like to get rid of. Enter Canadian brand Refresh Sht – an all-natural odor eliminator that contains no VOCs like Formaldehyde or Phthalates, so you can destroy nasty smells with total peace of mind. Available in two sizes – pocket-friendly 1 oz and household-ready 8 oz – this versatile spray leaves a fresh, crisp minty scent wherever you spritz it, from his gym bag to his skates to his laundry room and beyond. Use it to stuff his stocking or to drop the subtlest of hints his stuff could use some freshening up.

Yoga Joes Series 2 – $25 + Yoga Joe Issue #1 Comic – $7.99 USD
If he’s into downward dog and practicing his handstands, he’ll love these quirky gifts from dude-oriented yoga mat brand Brogamats. Deck out his deck (or yoga studio) with the latest line-up of ‘Yoga Joes’, the brand’s yoga-oriented take on those little green army men, showing off their yoga poses and asanas with flare. While you’re at it, pick up the debut issue of the brand’s new comic book, Yoga Joe, which involves yoga supersoldiers in the Himalayas that use yoga to fight bad guys. The artwork is actually pretty cool from a comic book nerd point of view – they got Ken Kelly, the 1970s artist behind He-man, Conan the Barbarian, and Star Wars comics, to do the spectacular cover design.

I’ve once again got a pretty stellar prize package to gift to one lucky reader, valued at over $685! Want to nab it? If you do, you’ll win:
